EXPERIENCE

Reid Maddox, Licensed Massage Therapist

Reid is a 1997 graduate of the White River School of Massage Therapy in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he completed over 150 hours of training in anatomy and physiology and 300 hours in massage modalities and was one of the top graduates in his class. He has built a strong local practice working closely with several area doctors and chiropractors in the treatment of their patients.

Reid is active in the community and has volunteered his services for events such as the Arkansas Professional Business Women’s state conference and the KMAG 99.1 Tax Relief as well as to agencies such as the arthritis Foundation and Reynolds Cancer Support Survivors Challenge. He has been featured on ABC 40/29’s Healthbeat and was a featured massage therapist on KFSM TV 5’s “Ask the Expert” call in segment. Reid was voted “Best Massage Therapist” by eFort Smith Magazine and was inducted into the Who’s Who Massage Therapy in 2006. He served as the official massage therapist with the Fort Smith Classic Charity Golf Tournament from 1997-2000.

Reid believes strongly in the benefits of massage therapy. He is committed to providing you with the most professional, therapeutic and relaxing massage possible to help you cope with life’s surprises. He believes it is the “RESULTS” that people get with effective massage therapy that has allowed him great success.

Reid was one of the first in the River Valley to both bill and receive reimbursements as a massage therapist from insurance companies. He also lobbied and helped make law regarding massage therapist lien filing. Most liability insurance companies (i.e. car insurance and workers compensation) will reimburse for massage therapy treatment when billed correctly and within the American Medical Association (AMA) guidelines.
